Why does workshop learning often happen in the least inspiring locations?

You've been through it all: the workshop in the basement. The stuffy and impersonal grand ballroom. Or the life-sucking breakout room with no windows. Scrappy can be positive, but if you're paying good coin to sharpen your experience-design skills, you deserve a great experience.

Chalet Workshop delivers that experience, with a focus on helping good design thinkers grow into leaders. As a participant you'll receive insights and skills shared by accomplished industry veterans. All of this in a stunning hideaway designed for inspiration, collaboration and work.

Join us at Chalet Workshop this spring for our first workshops at historic Colorado Chautauqua, at the base of Flatiron mountains.

Colorado Chautauqua. We'll enjoy either a foot of snow or sunny and 70º f.

Love your unspoken truths.
Design for massive change.

What are you making? Why should anyone care? What will people really say when they talk about it—if they talk about it? If that's not immediately clear, your next great idea will miss the mark.

And in order for people to care, you need to fearlessly strike at the heart of what matters.

In this three-day workshop we'll help you discover what resonates deeply with your clients and customers. And you'll learn how to craft and share your most compelling possible vision for your next product, service or campaign.

Experience mapping:
see the system, change the system

Every organization creates experiences for its customers and constituents. Many people responsible for those experiences lack awareness of the weak points within or across those experiences. These gaps are massive opportunities for customer innovations and organizational alignments.

In this two-day workshop you'll learn the ins and outs of successful experience mapping; familiarize yourself with five types of experience maps for solving many business problems; and boost your ability to identify and convey opportunities for change across your customer's journey.
